물거미(Argyroneta aquatica) 는 전 세계적으로 매우 희귀한 종으로, 1속 1종만이 존재한다. 전 생애를 수중에서 보내며, 우리나라에서는 경기도 연천군 전곡읍 은대리의 탱크훈련장인 습지에서 서식하는 것이 확인되었다. 밝혀진 바가 미흡한 물거미의 생태를 알아보고자 본 연구에서 는 CCTV를 이용하여 연속적으로 촬영 및 관찰하여 그 행동 특성과 패턴 등을 밝혀보았다.
The water spider(Argyroneta aquatica) is one of the world's rarest species, as only one genus and one species exists. It lives in water throughout its whole life, and in South Korea. its habitat has been found in a small swamp at Eundaeri, Jeongok-eob, Yeonchun-gun in Kyungki-do. In this study, for identifying little known lifestyle of the water spider, we investigated its behavioral characteristics/patterns through the continual video recording using CCTV.
