This study aims to analyze empirically the relationship with internationalization process, FDI Performance between first investment and sequential investment with the 103 Korean manufacturers in China. This study also differentiates itself from previous studies because this one empirically analyzed and compared the factors which affect the performance between first foreign investment and sequential foreign investment. Also, for the industry to represent the whole of China, a survey was represented to have more meaning for the whole of the country. The results of this study about the FDI Performance between first investment and sequential investment are as follows : First, a higher globalization rate produces a negative effect on business performance. Second, during the sequential foreign investment, part of business strategy in the higher level of global integration, management and growth potential produces a negative (-) influence on business performance. A higher globalization rate produces greater negative(-) influences on business performance, so a field-oriented areas of management strategies should reflect local characteristics and a localization strategy is needed for subsidiaries to strengthen autonomy.
