The victim definition is being used with different meanings and apply to the different object in different laws. It depends on law characteristics and the fundamental purpose of individual law. It result from not having provision related victim definition at all. The aim of this thesis is to explore the scope of victim being allowed to participate in proceedings and to make it clear. This is even the first way how to apply and realize respect of the victim protection in Constitution.
