퍼스널 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스 사용 요인에 관한 연구

Factors Affecting the Use of Personal Cloud Computing Services

클라우드 컴퓨팅은 개인 사용자들에게 급속히 확산되고 있다. 대부분의 연구들이 기술을 중심으로 그 대상을 기업으로 하고 있는데 반해 본 연구에서는 개인 사용자를 대상으로 퍼스널 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스 사용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해 실증하였다. 이를 위해 통합된 기술 수용 모형과 혁신확산이론, 클라우드 컴퓨팅 연구를 기반으로 퍼스널 클라우드 컴퓨팅 사용에 대한 이론적 모형을 도출한 후 637명의 개인을 대상으로 실증하였다. 그 결과 지각된 유용성, 사용용이성, 사회적 영향, 개인의 혁신성이 퍼스널 클라우드 컴퓨팅 사용 의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났으며, 기업 차원의 클라우드 사용과는 달리 보안에 대한 우려는 퍼스널 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스를 사용하는데 있어 큰 장애 요인으로 인식하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사용 용이성과 개인의 혁신성에 대해서는 나이와 성별이 일부 조절 효과를 나타내었다.

The purpose of this paper to identify the factors which impact the use of personal cloud computer services. Unlike the previous research on cloud computing, this research limited cloud services to SaaS and focused on individual users who use the service of their own accord. Based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology(UTAUT) and Innovation Diffusion Theory(IDT), perceived usefulness, ease of use, social influence, security, and personal innovativeness were included on the research model as independent variables. In addition, age and gender were introduced as moderating variables to analyze the interaction effects between those independent variables and the dependent variables(use of SaaS). The questionnaire survey was conducted and data were collected from individual users in Daegu and Kyungbook areas. The results of regression analysis provide the following findings. First, all the factors except security were found to be significantly related to use of cloud services. Second, age and gender were found to have interaction effects for ease of use and personal innovativeness.
