For the recent 20 years, China’s teacher education system has transformed with the request of revitalizing nation‟s teaching force. This article provides a general picture how pre-service teacher training system and teacher qualification system in China has changed and worked nowadays. Two major topics of this work focus on changing teacher preparation system from exclusive to open and multi-institutional frame work, and desirability of teacher qualification requirement and authentication system for qualified teaching force in China. Embedded in the discussion are issues such as evaluation of teacher training institute, relatively low entry bar of becoming teacher and imbalance the number of qualified teacher among regions. 近二十年来,随着对教师队伍质量的要求越来越高,中国的教师教育体系随之发生改变。本文将概述中国的教师岗前培训和教师资格认证体系发生的变化及其产生的作用。笔者认为,该体系的变化主要集中于两个方面:其一,教师预备体系由封闭转向开放,并形成多元化的制度架构;其二,侧重教师资格要求及认证体系的发展,以此提高全国教师队伍的总体质量。本文将探讨如何评估教师培训院校、成为教师的最低要求以及不同地区教师数量的不平衡等问题。
