A Study on the Change of Limen-Meaning in the Front Gate

집에서 대문은 안과 밖, 주체와 타자의 경계면에 위치하는 위상학적 역할로 인해서 특정한 영역적 특성을 나타내고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국의 주거문화에서 독특한 경계개념을 형성하고 있는 대문을 중심으로 대문의 경계적 특성과 과거와 현대를 통과하며 변화하고 있는 의미변화의 지점을 살펴보았다. 이러한 시선은 공간의 경계 개념을 통해 현대의 공간문화적인 특징의 단면을 보여주었다.

This thesis sets out to study the front gate of architecture which had classified as a limen of in-external spaces in general. The immanent mechanism of psychoanalytic way in architecture is connected with human natured desire. Until now, architectural objects have been supposed to the vaguely hidden and unexposedly external symbol boundary of human nature itself in a general way. The theme of limen or boundary in architecture is dealt with the existence-value of an architectural object and space-culture. The liment of contemporary space is main concepts that motivate the psychoanalytic object through the 21st century architectural topology.
