용연 김정규의 교육사상 연구

Study on the Educational Thoughts of Yongyeon Kim Chung-kyu

이 연구에서는 용연 김정규의 교육사상에 대해 집중적으로 탐구하였다. 용연 김정규는 함경북도 경성출신의 유학자이자 관북의병의 중요한 인물이다. 1908년 관북지역 의병거사의 실패를 계기로 북간도로 망명하게 되고 그 이후 교육활동에 주력하게 된다. 이를 통해 자신의 학문관, 교사관, 독서관을 철저히 실천하고자 한다. 그는 유교적 전통을 이어가기 위해 활발한 교육활동을 하는 한편 외세의 침략으로부터 나라를 구하기 위해 의병활동의 선두주자로 활약한다. 따라서 그의 사상체계에는 유교적 도학사상에서 비롯된 교육사상과 도학적 의리론에서 출발한 항일의리정신이 아울러 내포되어 있다. 결론적으로 김정규는 자신의 북간도 교육활동을 중심으로 지(志), 성(誠), 경(敬), 의(義)로 표현되는 그의 교육사상을 실천하고자 했으며 그것을 자신의 학문관, 교사관, 독서관에 관철하였고 이를 통해 유교적 도학에 대한, 가통의 전승에 대한, 항일구국에 대한 의리를 완성하고자 했던 것이다.

The study mainly concentrates on searching for Yongyeon, Kim Chung-Kyu's educational activities in the North Gando. Kim Chung-Kyu, who has studied abroad, from Kyungsung North Hamgyong province, is also the typical person among the Yuejungchuksa. In order to inherit the tradition of the Confucianism in educational activities and lead an important part in salvation in aggression, he behaved very actively. And he started to expand his thought system from Confucianism and confucian's educational thought to confucian's theory which included Anti-Japanese Spirit and started to play an important role in educational activities after the failure of theKwanbuk district's soldier revolution and North Gando in exilein 1908. He wanted to make a difference in the view of learning, teaching and library through all of these activities. All in all, Kim Chung-Kyu, in his North Gando, regarding educational activities as the center, made his educational thought come true in the annals, honesty, respect and justice and carried out his view of learning, teaching, and library. Through these, Confucianism and confucian Anti-Japanese and national salvation movement come true.
