The purpose of this study is to develop the tea culture education program for the propagation of Christianity. The tea culture education program reflects the needs of Christians who answered a questionnaire on the necessity, contents, and methods of the program, and the program was set based on these factors. This program has fifteen sessions and can be classified into three courses such as Hangeoleum (first step), Muksang (meditation), and Nanum (sharing) tea ceremony. The Hangeoleum tea ceremony is the first course for beginners who were initiated into tea culture, and has nine sessions. The Muksang tea ceremony, composed of two sessions-tenth to twelveth session, is the course for meditative prayer for communion with the word and grace of God, taking a cup of tea wholly and quiescently. The Nanum (sharing) tea ceremony. composed of thirteenth to fifteenth session, is the course to improve sociability by practicing neighborliness through devotion and sharing, and it has contents to use the tea ceremony for the propagation of Christianity. This program heightened the interest of participants in traditional culture. Second, the participants acknowledged the importance of etiquette lessons. Third, this program helps cultivate moral character. Fourth, this program helps cultivate interpersonal skills. Christians could have an opportunity to strengthen and improve relations with one another through various tea meetings and tea culture events.
