Korean government adopted self-managed bonded area system to support trade firms. With the self-managed bonded area system, customs supervision efficiency over bonded area and operation efficiency of firm increases. For firms to establish corresponding strategy to changes in international trades and logistics environment, customs system has to undergo improvement. Therefore, in this study analyzes customs supervision efficiency aspect of self-managed bonded area system along with changes in trade logistics environment aspect. By understanding drawbacks of the system, this study suggests constructional proposal on incentives, supervision efficiency and verification method of self-assessment bonded area system.
