The purpose of this paper is to show the brief empirical measurement way of cross efficiency model in DEA(data envelopment analysis) with ANOVA(analysis of variance) test under input oriented CRS(constant returns to scale) and VRS(variable returns to scale) condition for 12 world container seaports in 2007 data for 4 inputs(berth, depth, total area, and number of crane) and 2 outputs(TEU and variation rate of cargo handling). The main empirical results of this paper are as follows. First, according to empirical results of the cross efficiency model, efficiency scores of efficient ports(Singapore, Sanghai, Hongkong, Kaosung, and Ningbo Ports) are lowered to 0.7-08 level. Second, weighted value has influenced the efficiency score favorably or negatively. Second, when we measure ANOVA analysis, ranking order between cross efficiency and general DEA models showed the significant relations. The containerport policy planners should introduce and consider the cross efficiency model. When they measure the competition power of each seaports, the weighted values of each input and output should be closely considered.
