In Korea, the Green Campus Program is getting to be a popular movement among universities lately. Sangji University is known as one of the leading green campus universities in Korea. This study aims to determine the context in which Korean universities have been addressing issues in environmentalism, assess the current condition and characteristics of Sangji University's Green Campus Program and to propose future projects and suggestions for improvement. To accomplish these goals, the author reviewed related literature and conducted a case study. Results of the study suggest the following points for improvement. For the short term, they should institute measures for green gas reduction, develop a system for training Green Campus Program leaders and run coordinated programs with the local community. For the mid-term to long - term plan, building mid-long term master plan.to include opening a green college as well as a concrete framework that would see Sangji University evolving from a green campus to a sustainable campus. Results of this study will contribute to helping universities in Korea to build a green campus. However, generalization of these results should be done under careful consideration since they were derived from a specific case of an university
