The Importance and Priority Analysis of Strategic Factors for Origin-destination Air Cargo Increase

This research aims to analyze the importance and priority of the strategic factors to realize the origin-destination air cargo increase of an international airport using the strategy assessment model (O-D model). The aim of the research was done through the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) based on the indepth survey of the experts in the related field. The survey results were analyzed and quantifying of importance of strategical factors were attempted. As a result, the govemment has to attract FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) of global airlines & multinational enterprises and to expand the investment for cargo and logistics facilities continuously. The research provides meaningful implications to increase the origin-destination air cargo of international airport. Academically, this study purposes valid results through evaluating and measuring strategic factors focused on the origin-destination air cargo.
