대학 학습동아리 활동 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인 탐색을 통한 지원 전략 개발 연구

A Study on the Development of Support Strategies by Investigating Factors for Study Group Activities in Universities

최근 전국의 대학들이 학습동아리를 중점적으로 지원하고 있다. 그 이유는 학습동아리의 운영 과징에서 학생들의 자기주도적 학습 능력이 향상되고 리더십과 문제해결 능력이 함양된다. 이와 같은 능력은 정보화 사회에서 장조화 사회로 진입하는 시대에서 가장 많이 필요한 소양이며, 기업에서 요구하는 인재상이다. 이에 학습동아리의 중요성이 부각되고 이와 관련된 다양한 연구들이 수행되었다. 이에 본 연구에서도 대학 학습동아리 활동성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하고 이를 기반으로 효과적인 학습동아리 운영을 위한 미시적 지원전략을 개발하였다. 학습동아리 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인 탐색을 위해 D대학에서 2012년 2학기에 학습동아리 활동을 한 137명을 대상으로 학습동아리 성과에 영향을 미치는 변인 탐색을 위한 설문을 조사하였고, 2013년 1학기에 학습동아리를 운영한 대표 학생 14 명을 대상으로 초점집단 인터뷰를 통해서 학습동아리 성공과 실패에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하였다. 그 결과 학습동아리 운영 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학습동아리의 목표의 구체성과 학습 동기의 수준， 구성원들의 책임감과 적극성 그리고 행정적인 구속력으로 나타났다. 이를 기반으로 다섯 가지 지원 전략을 개발하였다. 개발된 지원 전략은 첫째 학습동아리 운영 지원을 위한 멘토 제도 및 설명회 운영, 둘째 학습동아리 목표 및 학습 계획서의 사전 점검 및 피드백, 셋째 학습동아리의 대표 학생에 대한 리더십 교육， 넷째 학습동아리 운영 지원을 위한 모니터링 시행 및 상담 제공， 다섯째 학습동아리 구성원에 대한 학습 건설팅 제공이다.

This study aims to investigate success factors that affect the results of study group activities and to develop support strategies for study group management. A total of 137 students who participated in study groups in the second semester of 2012 in D' University were surveyed. Further, focus group interviews were held with 14 representative students from the study groups held in the first semester of 2013. The results revealed that factors that influenced the outcomes of study group management included clarity of team goals. level of academic motivation, responsibility and activeness of participants, and administrative binding power. The following strategies were developed on the basis of the results. Firstly, management of a mentor system and briefing session to support study group management. Secondly, pre-inspection and feedback on goals, combined with academic plans of study groups. Thirdly, leadership training for the representative students of the study groups. Fourthly, monitoring and counseling assistance to support study group management,. Finally, a learning consultation program assistance for the participants of the study groups.
