This study has attempted to investigate job stress levels and intensity of health-promoting behaviors among beauty & skincare industry workers and how they correlate to each other in order to improve their health and quality of life. For this, a questionnaire survey was conducted with 300 beauty & skincare industry workers in Daegu, and the results were analyzed through t-test, one-way ANOVA and correlation analysis. According to the analysis, as the job stress level increased, health-promoting behavior significantly weakened. In other words, a negative correlation was observed between health-promoting behavior and job stress. According to this analysis, it can be said that beauty & skincare industry workers job stress can be the variable to control their health-promoting behavior. It appears that the results of this study would be available as basic data in searching for arbitration to reduce job stress and strengthen health-promoting behavior among beauty & skincare industry workers.
