This study has attempted to determine what should be improved to provide better hair salon services in Korea considering current multicultural and globalizing trends after investigating the current use and selection factors for hair salons of Chinese students in Korea and their satisfaction. For this, a questionnaire survey was conducted with Chinese students in their 20s, who were taking college courses in Gyeonggi and Chungcheong regions. The following results were obtained: First, according to analysis on the effect of current use of hair salons on customer satisfaction, the current use of hair salons had a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Second, according to analysis on the effect of the internal selection factors for hair salons on customer satisfaction, the internal selection factors had a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Third, according to analysis on the effect of the external selection factors for hair salons on customer satisfaction, the external selection factors had a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Fourth, according to analysis on the effect of current use, internal selection and external selection factors for hair salons on customer satisfaction, the current use and external selection factors (external factors in selection factors, specifically) had a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction.
