A Study on Art Make up illustration Using Owl Motif - Focused on the works -

This study has investigated the production of design on beauty illustration using motives. The significance and goal of the study are to give support to abstract design which uses unique and formative characteristics. Then, the following results were obtained: First, in terms of a type of realistic motives, a type of realistic motives and abstract, formative and geometric types in Korea have been expressed through works. Design factors are examined through each work, and then they become the source of diverse designs. Second, according to analysis on motive design used in various sectors such as architecture, sculpture and painting, it’s been able to analyze the meaning, characteristics and expression method of motives in works. Third, unlike the previous studies on beauty illustration, which used the already configured work of art, this study has concluded that it is possible to promote creative and multi-sense application by adding realistic and natural motives to beauty design.
