역량중심 미술과 교육과정 접근을 위한 미술과 핵심역량 도출

Deduction of Core Competencies of Art Curriculum for Competency-based Art Education Approach

현대 사회의 개별화, 다양성의 강조는 단편적 지식 추구에 집중되었던 교육에 대한 패러다임의 전환을 요구하고 있다. 이는 학습자 개인의 삶의 가치를 존중하고 학습자의 행복을 추구하는 방향으로의 전환을 의미하는 것이다. 역량중심 교육과정은 지적인 영역과 비 인지적 측연의 균형을 통하여 개인의 삶의 가치에 의미를 부여하는 교육과정이다. 이에 교육과정의 대안적 접근으로 이해되고 있다. 미술과 교육과정에서 역량 중심 교육과정으로 접근은 이전의 교육과정을 통하여 꾸준히 제기되어 왔던 미술과 핵심역량을 중심으로 구성하는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구에서는 역량중심 교육과정의 접근을 위한 토대로 미술과 핵심역량을 추출하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 전문가들과의 면담과 미술과 교육과정의 목표와 내용을 중심으로 분석하는 방법을 활용한다. 이에 따른 결과로 “미적 공감 능력”,“창의적 표현능력”,“문화적 이해 능력”및 “소통 능력”이 도출 되었다.

The individualization of modern society and the emphasis of diversity have required the change of education which has been focused on framentary knowledge. This means the shift toward the pursuit of happiness of learners and the respect of value of individual life. Competence-based art curriculum puts significant meaning to the value of individual life by balancing between cognitive domain and non-cognitive domain. Therefore, this competence-based curriculum is accepted as an alternative approach to education. The approach toward competence-based curriculum of art education is to organize the art curriculum by focusing on core competencies of art education. This study investigates core competencies of art curriculum based on competence-based approach in education. For this purpose, interview with core expert group and analysis of art curriculum was used focusing on the aims and contents of art curriculum. And this study has drawn the core competencies of art curriculum: "aesthetical sympathy ability", "creative expression ability", "culture awareness ability", "communication ability".
