공급망 재고정보시스템의 활용수준에 따른 공급망관리

SCM by the IT Utilization Level for Inventory Management: The Effect of Relationship Commitment with Suppliers on Collaboration Performance

본 연구는 기업들이 공급업체와 협력관계에서 재고정보시스템을 어느 정도 활용하고 있는가를 파악하고, 재고정보시스템활용도에 따라 일반적으로 거론되는 공급망관리의 관계몰입 요인들이 공급업체들과의 협력성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 분석한다. 공급망 내 기업 간 관계에서 공동으로 활용하는 재고정보시스템과 관련된 항목을 활용하여 기업간 재고정보시스템 활용 수준에 따라 적극적 재고정보시스템 활용군과 소극적 재고정보시스템 활용군으로 분류하였으며, 적극적 재고정보시스템 활용군에서는 공급자와의 관계몰입은 협력성과인 타협적 의사결정, 문제 발생 시 협력 및 지원, 이익 배분, 재계약 가능성, 적절한 재고수준 유지, 총 리드타임 단축에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 소극적 재고정보시스템 활용군에서는 관계몰입이 적절한 재고수준 유지에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to understand Korean firms’ levels of information technology utilization for the inventory management in the cooperative relationship with suppliers and to analyze the impact of relationship commitment on the collaboration performance. 210 Korean firms are classified into two groups: the active IT utilization group and the passive IT utilization group. The result shows that relationship commitment with suppliers affects joint decision-making, joint problem solution, benefit sharing, the possibility of contract renewal, the inventory level, and lead time reduction in the active IT utilization group. In the passive IT utilization group, relationship commitment did not have impact on inventory level.
