The Effects of External Support and System Change Factors on ERP Performance

본 논문은 기업들이 ERP 시스템을 실행함에 있어 고려해야할 핵심 성공요인을 도출하고, 이러한 요인들이 기업의 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 핵심 성공요인으로는 조직적 요인, 외부 요인, 프로세스 요인으로 구분하였고, ERP 성과로는 정량적 성과와 정성적 성과를 고려하여 세부 변수를 선행연구 고찰을 통해 도출하였다. 분석방법은 국내 소재 ERP 도입 기업으로부터 설문회수 된 기업을 대상으로 평균차이분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 독립변수로 설정한 모든 요인이 정성적 성과와 정량적 성과에 유의적인 차이를 보이는 것으로 나타나 ERP 시스템 성공구현에 외부지원 및 시스템변화 요인이 중요함을 보여주고 있다.

This study aims at introducing the key factors for successful performance of the ERP system and analysing how these factors effect a company's outcomes. The key factors include an organization factor, an external support factor, and a process factor. For the ERP performance, both quantitative and qualitative performance are considered and particular variables are deduced through considering previous studies. This study performed the T-test for one hundred and eleven domestic companies that introduced the EPR systems. The analysis results show that every independent variable gives statistically meaningful impacts on both quantitative and qualitative performances. This means that organization factors, external support factors and system change factors are important for the ERP successful performance. This study will provide practical implications on the way how domestic companies select desirable ERP system for each company's environments and how they should cooperate on each phase of ERP implementation.
