다층모형분석을 활용한 지리교과 학업성취도의 학교효과에 관한 연구

A study on the School Effectiveness Using Multi-Level Model Analysis of Geography Achievement

본 연구는 문헌연구를 통해 학교효과 연구를 위한 방법론으로 다층모형분석에 대해 알아보았으며 학교효과 연구의 중요성을 밝혔다. 또한 표본을 선정한 후, 독립변수 선정을 위해 상관분석과 탐색적 분석을 실시하여 유의한 변수를 선정하였다. 학교, 교사, 학생의 수준에서 독립변수와 한국지리 수능점수인 종속변수의 관계를 살펴보았으며 고정효과와 무선효과를 통해 유의확률을 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 지리교과의 학업성취도에 영향을 주는 요인을 학생, 교사, 학교 수준에서 살펴보았으며 다층모형분석을 적용하여 통계적 오류를 줄이는 정확한 방법론을 사용하여 분석하였다. 학생의 학업성취도에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하여 학업성취도를 높이기 위한 환경을 만들어주기 위해 노력할 수 있으며 다층모형분석의 방법론을 활용함으로써 지리교과의 방법론의 활용에 의의가 있다.

Education is a basic right for human beings and educating students has tremendous effect on students, families, nations and to the world. This is one of the reasons why it is necessary to provide decent educational environment to students. School effectiveness research is an attempt to explore possibility of development, reduce inequality of education and assist for growth of students. This study used methods of documentary research for understanding of multi-level model to prove the importance of the subject. This study analyzes factors effecting geography’s academic achievement at the level of student, teacher and school applying multi-level model using an accurate mythology to reduce statistical errors. This study is at attempt to aid in improvement of effectiveness in educating and environment that elevates academic achievement. This study is expected to be more specific and practical if data such as teaching methods and academic achievement record by years can be accumulated.
