Daseonilmi is the behavior of quiet meditatio that is performed in a silent chamber, not a drink that is only needed for physiological necessities. This culture of tea, was established in Buddhism as a daily practice through the Seon-temple pure rule. Because the self discipline of the six sense organs, which can be done with the practice of Zhiguan performing our daily lives, is performed with tea drinking, it is called the Tea practice of Zhiguan. The book named Surangama-Sutra also described the method of discipline through the six sense organs. Tea drinking makes our mind develop into a deep rational faculty because of the calmness after tea drinking. This rational faculty of the mind also improves self confidence and the realization of truth, as well as improving awareness, as in the course of th Zen masters. A cup of tea will be able to restore our own the nature of the Buddha, wash away the fatigue of mind and body, and allow us to be harmonized with nature.
