전통시장 영업환경 요인이 대형할인점 매출액에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

A study on the sales of Large-scale Discount store depending on the business environment factors of traditional markets

An empirical study for verifying the correlation of the sales between the large-scale discount stores and the traditional markets depending on the change of the commercial supremacy of the traditional markets has not been carried out yet. The main purpose of this study is to get the relative importance of business factors of the traditional market affecting a sales change of the big box retailer through the status of sales of each shop of the big box retailer. The results of an empirical analysis shows some certain pattern. First, the more adjacent traditional market are near Large-scale Discount store, the less Large-scale Discount store makes a profit. Second, the closer the distance between them is, the less Large-scale Discount store makes a profit. Third, the smaller the traditional market is, the more Large-scale Discount store makes a profit. Plus, the more Large-scale Discount store is away from Seoul, the more it makes a profit. We surmised that variable distribution contents help sales growth of Large-scale Discount store. We also introduced the grounds to analysis the relationship between the business factors of the traditional market and sales changes of Large-scale Discount store through this study.
