A Study on the e-Customs System(ACE + AES) in U.S.

This study wished to propose suggestions about the development of a single window system and a e-customs system in Korea through the cases of U.S. First, South Korea need to build the single window system not U.S.(ACE/ITDS) but Japan(NACCS). South Korea should promote a open single-window like Japan that can access through the already developed system. Second, South Korea need to establish the single window system that can concurrently process export clearance and approval of export strategic as in the case of AES(Automated Export System). Third, South Korea need to establish the single window system that have more flexibility and various technical options to transmit trade data as in the case of ACE(Automate Commercial Environment).
