이 연구는 청각장애학생을 위한 자기결정성 동기 척도 타당화 연구를 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 전국의 난청과 청각장애학생을 위한 연구소 또는 치료실에 다니고 있는 학생 229명을 대상으로 자기결정성 동기 검사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 신뢰도 분석으로 타당도와 신뢰도를 확보한 후 수집된 자료를 이용하여 요인분석과 상관분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청각장애학생을 위한 차별화된 교육서비스를 위해서는 이들에게 적합한 판별 도구 개발이 무엇보다 중요함을 시사한다. 따라서 이 연구에서 개발한 자기결정성 동기 척도는 신뢰로우며 타당성이 보장되어 청각장애학생의 자기결정성 동기를 알아내고 그에 맞는 인지적 및 정서적 교수법 적용을 구안하는데 적합하다. 둘째, 자기결정성 동기 척도의 하위 요인에 대한 청각장애학생의 배경 변인별 차이에서 통합교육 시작시기에 따라서 가장 많은 차이를 보였다. 즉 환경은 이들 정의적 변인에 많은 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 학교 급별에서도 차이를 보였는데, 이는 나이의 변화에 따라 자기결정성 동기 변화가 민감함을 보여준다. 마지막으로 창의적 인성 척도 각 하위 요인들은 무동기와 내사조절 요인을 제외한 모두 각각에 부적이든 정적이든 영향을 미치는 상관을 가진다. 이는 정의적 변인들이 서로 유기적으로 연결되어 있음을 알 수 있다.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the reliability and validity of self-determination motivation scale in order to determine the extent to which this measure is generalizable to students with hearing impairment. The subjects of this study consist of 229, 4th grade; or older students with hearing impairment. The results of this study were presented as follows: (a) development of assessment for students with hearing impairment is such an urgent issue to distinguished education of such students; (b) variables of environments had pretty big impact on its variables of definition of children's age; and (c) the relation of variables related to self-determination motivation could be explained by external regulation, identified regulation, and integrated regulation, when providing intrinsic regulation is set to be a dependent variable except introjected regulation. The amount of entire explanation was R²=.54. Therefore this study concluded that the reliability and validity of self-determination motivation scale are ensured to apply and to measure the self-determination motivation for students with hearing impairment.
