발달장애 아동의 기능적응을 위한 감각치료에 관한 연구

Studies on the adaptation of function through therapy sensory disabled children

본 연구에서는 소토즈증후군 진단을 받은 발달지연 장애아동을 대상으로 하여 감각통합 이론을 중심으로 하는 작업치료를 적용함으로써 이에 따른 치료 효과와 만족도에 대하여 알아보고자 한다. 측정 도구는 캐나다작업수행측정(COPM), Sensory profile측도로 감각영역(sensory section), 감각요소(sensory factor) 그리고 사회성숙도 검사, 개인-사회성 미세운동-적응 운동발달 언어측도를 위하여 덴버-Ⅱ(DDSTⅡ)를 사용 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, COPM의 수행도(COPM-Performance) 및 만족도(COPM-Satisfaction)에서는 중재 전 12.25점에서 23.25점으로 높게 향상되는 결과를 보였다. 둘째, 출생에서 5세까지 DARBAS 소근육 검사에서는 중재 전 31개월에서 주재 후 41.32개월로 향상되었으며, DARBAS 인지에서는 중재 전 35.64개월에서 중재 후 49.61개월로 향상되었다. 사회성숙도 검사에서는 사회연령(SQ)가 중재 전 45.1에서 중재 후 48.66으로 높게 나타났으며, 한국형 덴버-Ⅱ에서 미세 운동 및 적응발달은 중재 전 36개월에서 중재 후 48개월로, 언어발달은 중재 전 27개월에서 중재 후 36개월로 향상된 결과를 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통하여 감각통합이론을 적용한 작업치료는 발달지연장애 아동에게 치료적인 효과가 있으며 대상자뿐만 아니라 아동 보호자가 치료 목표와 내용을 함께 설정하고 치료를 받는 과정을 통하여 보호자도 만족 할 수 있을만한 치료임을 알 수 있었다.
