한국영화사적 접근을 활용한 통일교육의 함의

분단이후 태어난 국민이 전체의 90%이상이 되는 현실에서 영화는 그 파급효과로 인해 미성숙한 학생들에게 북한과 통일에 대한 잘못된 환상이나 오류를 범할 수 있는 빌미를 제공할 수 있기에 영화와 통일에 대한 교육적 고찰은 반드시 필요한 일이다. 본 연구에서는 통일교육의 일환으로 학생들에게 가장 친근하고 접근이 용이한 교육적 매체인 영화의 교육적 가치를 탐구하되 특히 한국영화사라고 하는 영화의 역사적 흐름이 통일 교육에 활용될 수 있는 교육적 타당성에 대하여 논의하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 한국영화사의 통일교육적 가치에 대해서 탐색하였다. 그리고 통일교육과 북한관련 영화의 흐름과 영화에 비친 통일에 대한 현재적 의미를 통해 한국영화사와 통일교육의 연계방향을 모색해보았으며 이를 통해 한국영화사의 통일교육적 함의에 대하여 살펴보았다.

Since more than 90% of the Korean people haven't experience the Korean War, movie which has a great ripple effect to people's opinions might cause lots of incorrect information about it. Therefore in this study, the implication of the unification education from the Korean movie history was thoroughly reviewed from the value of the Korean movie history. To achieve the goal of the study, at first, the value of the Korean movie history from the view of the unification education was considered. Secondly, the direction of connection between the Korean movie history and the unification education was suggested from both by examining the tendency of the North Korea related movies and by looking into the current meaning of the unification in the movie. Lastly, as a conclusion, the implication of the unification education from the Korean movie history was drawn.
