This research examined the impact of parent-care on marital satisfaction for married women by utilizing the third wave data from the Korean Longitudinal Panel Survey ofWomen and Family (KLoWF) conducted by the KoreanWomen’s Development Institute (KWDI) in 2011. The results showed that the conflict-management strategies as well as the demographic variables such as religion, education, and age had statistically significant influences on marital satisfaction. However, the results of the regression analyses showed that the influence of parent-care variables on marital satisfaction was not statistically significant. A group mean difference analysis revealed that among women residing with their parents or parents-in-law, those who provided direct care to their husband’s parents had lower marital satisfaction compared to their counterparts.
