어머니의 스트로크가 유아 또래 간 인기도에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Mother's stroking pattern on young children's peer status

본 연구는 어머니의 스트로크 유형에 따라 유아 또래 간 인기도는 어떤 차이가 나며, 어머니의 스트로크 유형 중 유아 또래 간 인기도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 무엇인가를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대전광역시에 소재한 유치원 중에서 유치원 교육 환경이 비슷하고, 교사의 배경 즉, 담임교사가 3년제 대학 이상 졸업자로 3년 이상의 경력을 가지고 있는 D 유치원 만 5세 2학급의 원생 50명과 P 유치원 만 5세 3학급의 원생 71명으로 총 121명(남아 63, 여아 58명)을 대상으로 어머니-유아 간 스트로크 유형 검사와 유아 또래 간 인기도 검사를 하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 어머니의 스트로크 유형 중 긍정적 스트로크의 하위영역인 무조건적, 신체적, 조건적 스트로크 정도가 높은 집단이 낮은 집단의 유아보다 또래간 인기도가 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 스트로크 유형 중 긍정적 스토로크의 하위영역인 무조건적, 조건적, 신체적 스트로크가 유아 또래 간 인기도와 상관관계가 있었고 그 중 무조건적 스트로크가 유아 또래 간 인기도에 유의미하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유아기에 어머니로부터 긍정적인 스트로크를 받은 유아가 또래 관계에서의 인기도에 긍정적 영향을 주는 것을 알 수 있었다.

This research aims to delineate how children's peer status differ according to their mothers' stroking pattern and which stroking pattern affects a child's peer status. This research subjects 121 pre-school children. I conducted one-on-one interview for the mother-child stroke pattern questionnaire and evaluation of children's peer status. The findings of this research are as follows. First, among children with positive stroking experiences, those with high degree of unconditional, physical, and conditional stroke show a significantly high level of peer status as well. Second, after investigating the types of stroking pattern that affects a child's peer status, three sub categories of positive stroking pattern (unconditional and conditional, physical stoke) exhibited meaningful correlation. Among those categories, unconditional stroke exhibited the most influence. Illuminating on the results of this research, it can be inferred that if a child gets positive stroking from its mother during childhood, the child becomes capable of establishing a high level of trust among its peers as well.
