1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study is to propose the necessity of system improvement about a term for reconstruction approval of the urban and residential environment regeneration law. In particular, this study focused the comparat ive analysis on the perception of various members. As a result, this study suggest two implications. First, a term for reconstruction approval has to be modified up to 30 years. Second. The building of functional and structural defects should be possible reconstruction in the building not been equipped with seismic performance of buildings (2) RESEARCH METHOD This study was focused on survey analysis. The data for this analysis were collect from the questionnaire. This questionnaire consisted of the st atus of expert delphi(Delphi Method). including reconstruction through empirical research and analysis to allow light is to propose a reasonable plan. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS In the results of t his survey, the most important problem is the sample size covered in research is limited to 300 people. there are some limitations to generalize the results of this study. also did not the in-depth analysis of real-world examples about term for reconst ruction approval unfortunately. 2. RESULTS This study offers two alternatives system improvement about a term for reconstruction approval of the urban and residential environment regeneration law. 1) Change a term for reconstruction approval to 30years. 2) Seismic performance of the buildings are not equipped with a functional defect in t he building or structural defects allow the reconstruction.
