This study aims to investigate TEE(Teaching English in English) certified teachers' perceptions and attitudes towards TEE/TEK(Teaching English in Korean). For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 102 TEE certified teachers in the Seoul area. The major findings are as follows. First, many English teachers refrain from using English due to the reasons such as the lack of students' understanding of English and the difficulty of covering the content in the textbook in the given time. Second, TEE-M certified teachers' group and middle school teachers' group has experienced the professional development and the attitudinal changes during and after the TEE certification, while TEE-A certified teachers' group and high school teachers' group hasn't. Third, teachers believe that TEE is more effective than TEK (teaching English in Korean) in improving students' listening and speaking skills. They also perceive that students use English more and that more liberal atmosphere is found in TEE classes. Finally, English teachers show different attitudes in TEE classes. They pay more attention to students' participation in classroom activities and prepare more teaching materials than in TEK classes.
