Acquisition of Speech Act Request by Learners Acquiring Czech

체코어 학습자들에게서 나타나는 요청 화행의 습득

본 논문은 체코학습자의 실용적인 지식의 습득을 다룬다. 제 2언어 습득에서 가장 일반적인 언어표현 실험인 언어 표현력의 요구에 초점을 두고 있다. 논문의 첫 부분은 영어를 공부하는 외국인 화자에 의한 언어 표현력의 요구를 다루는 연구를 소개한다. 언어습득자 자신들의 발전단계를 통과하는 단계들이 기술된다. 두 번째 부분은 2012년 한국외국어대학과 체코의 카렐대학교에 행해진 연구결과를 다룬다. 여러 단계의 학생들이 이 연구에 참여하였다. 학생들의 반응에 기초하여 본 논문은 체코어 습득자들이 통과하는 여러 단계들을 명확히 규정하려고 한다. 외국어로서 영어를 배우는 비슷한 점과 다른 점들에 특히 중점을 둔다. 그리고 본 논문은 이러한 다른 점들의 이유를 밝힌다.

The article talks about acquisition of pragmatic knowledge of learners studying Czech. The focus is on the speech act request which is the most common examined speech act in studies of second language acquisition. The first part introduces studies that deal with the speech act request by nonnative speakers studying English. The phases through which learners pass during their development are described. The later part talks about the research that took place at Hankuk University in Korea and Charles University in the Czech Republic in 2012. Students from different levels took part in the research. On the basis of their responses the article attempts to define phases through which learners studying Czech pass. Attention is focused on the similarities and differences with English as a foreign language and the article aims to explain the reason for the differences.
