사이버정치: 교과의 현황파악 및 방향성의 모색

Cyberpolitics: Analyzing the State of the Art and Searching for the Orientation

본 연구에서는 새로이 탄생한 사이버공간의 등장과 그에 따른 정치영역의 다양한 분야에서의 변화를 사이버정치에 초점을 맞추어 살펴보고 있다. 사이버정치는 두 가지 관점에서 접근되었다. 하나는 새로운 정치적 행위 그 자체로서의 사이버 정치에 대한 관심의 연장선상에서의 교과의 현황이요, 또 다른 하나는 사이버공간을 통한 정치교육 및 학습의 필요성에 관한 것이었다. 현재 사이버정치에 대한 교과적 관심은 시간의 경과에 따른 새로운 현상의 일상화로 인하여 정체 및 침체기에 접어든 것으로 보인다. 그러나 이는 하드웨어적인 상황의 악화에 따른 변화라기보다는 소프트웨어적인 운영의 측면에서의 문제가 더 강해 보이는 까닭에 관심의 환기와 노력의 집중으로 극복해 나아갈 수 있으리라고 본다. 다른 한편으로 통합적 사회구축을 위한 정치 교육 및 학습 전파 대상으로서의 다문화 가족과 북한주민에 대한 관심 및 통일에의 대비는 모노컬처럴리즘의 탈피와 양가공존 및 양가긍정의 공간창출 및 새로운 통일의식의 생성을 통해 가능할 수 있으리라 예측한다.

This article aims to explore the various changes in the political field cause by the advent of cyberspace by focusing on the so called cyberpolitics. Cyberpolitics is being approached two different ways here. One is to analyze the state of the art as extended from the interests in the new appearing political activities. The other is to review the needs of education and learning in politics through cyberspace. For now, interests in the cyberpolitics as a discipline seem to have been declined owing to being accustomed to the newly appeared phenomenon. This is caused more by operational problems than by hardware deterioration, which can be overcome through calling attention and pouring efforts to change the current situation. On the other hand, to construct multi-cultural society and prepare for the Unification, we should discard the mono-culturalism and open new space where the two different parties can coexist through co-acknowledgement, which can be supported by creating the new unification spirit.
