보편적 학습설계 원리에 기초한 특수교육용 e교과서 설계 원리 개발

본 연구의 목적은 보편적 학습설계(UDL: Universal Design for Learning) 원리에 기초하여 특수교육용 e교과서의 설계 원리를 개발하는 것이다 본 연구의 특수교육용 e교과서 설계 원리는 보편적 학습설계 원리인 다양한 정보제시 수단의 제공, 다양한 표현수단의 제공, 다양한 참여수단 제공 등의 3가지 원리별로 범주화하여 구체적인 설계 지침들을 제시하고자 한다. 보편적 학습설계 원리에 기초한 특수교육용 e교과서는 신체적인지적ㆍ정서적 장애를 가진 학생들을 대상으로 e교과서를 개발할 때 필수적으로 지켜야 할 설계 원리를 제공한다. 이러한 특수교육용 e교과서 설계 원리를 통해 불필요한 e교과서 기능의 설계로 인한 예산의 낭비를 막고 장애아동들이 e교과서를 활용하여 효과적이고 효율적으로 학습을 할 수 있는 더욱 발전된 e교과서 설계 원리에 초석이 될 수 있을 것이다.

This research purposes to develop the design principles of digital textbooks for special education based on Universal Design for Learning(UDL). The draft for the design principles of digital textbooks for special education was prepared by gathering the guidelines of the universal design for learning and extracting possible improvements from them through the interviews with the teachers at the chalkface. The prepared draft for the design principles of digital textbooks for special education was developed into the definitive design principles of digital textbooks for special education after going through the assessments and revisions by the group of experts. This research intends to help handicapped children to overcome handicaps and improve academic achievement even in an inclusive environment by developing the design principles of digital textbooks for special education which can enhance usability for all handicapped children in a learning environment. Also, this research suggests the fundamental data for preventing a waste of budget due to unnecessary designs by applying the essential guidelines to designing the digital textbooks for special education, and for developing highly useful digital textbooks for handicapped children through more researches and studies.
