여성결혼이민자들의 다문화강사양성과정 교육경험에 관한 연구

A Study on Educational Experiences in Multicultural Teachers Training Courses of Marriage Immigrant Women

본 연구는 결혼이주여성들을 대상으로 이들의 인적ㆍ문화적 자원을 활용한 취업지원책의 일환인 다문화강사양성을 심층 분석하여 다문화강사양성과정에 대한 개선방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 다문화강사 양성 수료자 8명, 과정생 3명, 담당실무자 4명을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하였다. 면접은 문헌연구를 토대로 질문내용을 반구조화 하여 실시하였으며, 다양한 질적연구의 방법 중 사례연구방법을 선정하였다. 면접은 1회시 평균 2시간 정도가 소요되었으며, 4차 면접까지 진행하였다. 각각의 면접은 모두 녹음되었고, 전사하였다. 또한, 연구참여에 대한 동의 및 연구윤리규정을 따랐다. 연구결과 26개의 의미단위를 거쳐 9개의 하위범주를 통합하여 3개의 주제가 도출되었다. 구체적으로, 연구 참여자들은 경제적 자립과 자기성취를 위해 다문화강사에 도전하고, 강사활동과 양성과정에 참여하면서 성취감을 느끼지만 내적갈등을 경험하는 양가적 감정을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이들은 양성과정 교육경험에 대하여 긍정적 만족감을 표현하지만, 개인적, 경제적, 정책적 요인들로 인한 어려움을 호소하였다. 이를 종합하여 여성결혼이민자들을 위한 다문화강사양성과정의 개선방안으로 다음을 도출할 수 있었다. 첫째, 양성과정 수료 후의 안정적인 일자리 발굴이 필요하다. 둘째, 체계적인 다문화강사 양성과정의 구축을 위해 중장기 지원정책을 수립할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 다문화교육의 이중구조와 다발적 지원 사업을 방지하기 위해 공통 프로그램과 특성화된 프로그램의 조화가 필요하다.

This study would deduct improvement plan for multicultural training courses by doing an in-depth analysis of multicultural teachers training courses which is a part of support measures to get a job by using human and cultural resources targeting marriage immigrant women. For this, in-depth interviews were conducted targeting 8 women who completed the multicultural teacher training courses, three trainees and four hands-on staffs. The interviews were conducted by semi-structuring contents of questions on the basis of literature research and the case study method was selected among various qualitative research methods. The interview took about average two hours once and the fourth interviews were conducted. Each interview was recorded and transcribed. In addition, it was followed agreement for research participation and code of research ethics. As results of research, three themes were deducted by integrating 9 subcategories by passing through 26 meaningful units. Concretely, research participants challenge to multicultural teachers for economic independent and self-achievement and feel sense of accomplishment during teaching activities and training courses but experience inner conflicts and have ambivalent feelings. They express positive feeling of satisfaction for the educational experience during training courses, but appeal for difficulties due to individual, economical and political factors. Taken together, as an improvement plan for multicultural teacher training courses of marriage immigrant women, it was deducted as follows: First, a steady support method is required through fixed pay. Second, it is required to establish mediumand long-term support to establish multicultural teacher training courses systematically. Third, it is required specialized program to prevent dual structure and multiple support projects of multicultural education.
