Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of scapular/shoulder stabilization exercise on arm/hand function and activities of daily living in Cervical Spinal Cord Injury patient Method : participant upper strength was measured by grip strength test and Spinal Cord Independence Measure Ⅲ (SCIM Ⅲ), Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) to evaluate activities of daily living. They took scapular/shoulder stabilization exercise 5 times per week for 4 weeks. The therapeutic effect was evaluated by arm/hand function and activities of daily living. Result : After Scapular/Shoulder Stabilization exercise, grip strength test resulted from right side 12kg, left side 16kg in the initial test to right side 22kg, left side 13kg, a patient's improvement of grip strength. COPM resulted from 3 lists of satisfaction score and achievement score improved. SCIM Ⅲ resulted from 89 in the initial test to 97, a patient accomplished with dependent activities daily living. Conclusion : After applying with Scapular/Shoulder Stabilization exercise, incomplete Spinal cord Injury patient with upper extremities weakness has been positive effects of arm/hand function, COPM, activities daily living.
