Objective: This study examined the effect of balance and functional gait in stroke patients, treadmill training using the mirror visual feedback, according to the visual feedback of the concentration differences in the way. Method: Sixty stroke patients were allocated randomly and equally to a full-length mirror gait training group(MG), lower legs mirror gait training group(LMG) and gait training group(CG). Treadmill training conducted once in each group was applied for 20 min. Result: BBS-K, FGA, TUG, moving area of COP in 0-8 weeks evaluation was significantly improved in MG and LMG(p<.05), but the CG, significantly improvement was BBS-K, TUG(p<.05). In 4-8 weeks evaluation was significantly improved in LMG(p<.05). There was significant improvements in MG and LMG better than CG of all evaluation(p<.05). FGA, TUG, moving area of COP was significant improvements in LMG better than MG(p<.05). Conclusion: Intensity treadmill training using high mirror visual feedback can be utilized as a way to improve balance and functional walking ability is expected visual feedback of the patients with hemiplegia caused by stroke.
