The purpose of this paper is to analyze Banyong of Yongsa and its correlation to a parody by perusing "Bulidangi(不移堂記)", an essay written by Yeonam Park Jiwon. There has been an active movement trying to determine an artistic attribute of Yongsa in relation to the connection between its usage in old literature and parody in the modern. This stems from the fact that Yongsa and a parody share the original text and are in the intertextuality. Yeonam's Bulidangi embraces an Yongsa, "A name is the guest of its nature(名者實之賓也)" from Zhuangzi's Soyoyu, which reveals relationship between name (名) and nature(實) symbolically, and shows effect of the strategy of discourse. This paper analyzes a structural process of how Banyong is used to lead Bulidangi to its conclusion, its strategic use and thus creating a new meaning by reversing the original. Yeonam used Banyong tactically in developing his argument, and this has a thread of connection to a syntax, Beopgochangsin - creating new things by following the past. Bulidangi continues the past by utilizing Yongsa and creates the new through its parody.
