노인환자의 낙상예방에 대한 현상학적인 연구

A Phenomenogical Study on Fall Prevention for Elderly Patients

본 연구는 노인환자의 낙상예방에 대한 간호사의 경험을 제공하기 위하여 시도되었다. 서울에 소재하는 700침상 이상의 병원에 근무하는 9명의 간호사들을 대상으로 2012년 3월 10일부터 5월 10일까지 심층 면담한 자료를 현상학적 접근으로 분석하였다. 간호사들의 경험에서 38가지 중요한 진술문을 추출하였고, 이것으로부터 교육서비스, 인간공학 적용, 실무관리 기술의 3가지 범주를 얻을 수 있었다. 그러므로 노인환자의 낙상예방을 위해 인체공학적인 접근방법과 보다 강화된 교육서비스와 간호활동의 전문기술을 전략화 하는 것이 바람직하다.

This study is conducted to assess nurses’ experiences of fall prevention for elderly patients. Nurses who work at more than 700beds hospitals in Seoul were interviewed in depth from March 10th, 2012 to May 10th, 2011. There was a total of 9 participants who took part in this study, and their experiences were analyzed through phenomenological approach. There were 38 significant statements that had been extracted from the protocols on nurses’experiences. The 3 categories derived from them include ‘educational training services’, ‘ergonomic methodological applications’ and ‘professional practice and managerial skills in nursing’. Therfore, it is desirable that ergonomic approach and more enhanced education and nursing practice should be applied strategically for fall prevention of elderly patient.
