Mysticism in Pauline Epistles

This study amis to investigate mysticism in Pauline epistles. This article presupposes that Paul's theology is the product of his mystic experience. Paul's idea of union with Christ seems to be based in his mystical experience. For Paul, the Holy Spirit is primarily not a theological concept or teaching but a mystic power. Paul seems to regard his own conversion/divine call experience as a prototype for all Christians. The evidence is the similarity between Galatians. 2:10-20 and Romans 7-8. However, Paul does not suppose that all Christians should have mystical experience. His mysticism is very christo-centric. Paul's mysticism is suffering mysticism which enables to experience Christ's resurrection. It is also community oriented.
