Hebrews 12:18-29 are considered the climax of the book presenting clear contrast with literary and theological aspects. Also the scriptures quote largely from the Old Testament to strongly warn readers facing suffering and temptation. Therefore this study examines the Christological significance suggested distinctively in the contrast between Sinai and Zion, encouragement with warning and readers' circumstances. By doing such this will prove the existence of Christology of the mediator of the New Covenant. Furthermore, this study will prove that typological contrasts and warnings in the Old and New Testament frequently used by the author of Hebrews are literary devices to reveal excellence, superiority and eternity of Jesus' revelation for which He is the mediator of the New Covenant who sheds His blood for the effect of eternal forgiveness of sin. Readers will meet Jesus, the mediator of the New Covenant who speaks with His blood shed on His cross.
