The genuine leadership Jesus showed is written in Matthew 20:17-28 mentioning the third notice of the Passion. this text will give the important basis recovering the leadership of the Korean churches. Jesus tells the purpose for he came to the world. Here we can find the basis of the devotion(Matthew 20:17-19). Jesus showed the model of devotion to disciples through the concern and care in here. Jesus is forced out toward the death most irrationally and die most tragically. Through this miserable death Jesus achieved devotion. The Death of Atonement and the Resurrection is the crystallization of completion of salvation and devotion. Jesus said the meaning of his death and the devotion accomplishing through it as "whoever wants to be first must be your slave. just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."(Matthew 20:27-28) Jesus practiced devotion in the hardest way and showed the model. His Cross of Redemption exposes the genuine devotion. Thus Jesus' leadership is accomplished through lowering himself.
