A Study on the Clauses of Notices in Incoterms 2010

When the parties to the contract of sales of the goods make a contract of sales, They have to use a rule of IncotermsⓇ 2010 Rules. The IncotermsⓇ 2010 Rules is the rules necessary for making the contract of sales of the goods. This rules have the 11 rules such as EXW, FCA, CPT, CIP, DAT, DAP, DDP, FAS, FOB, CFR, CIF. Each rule of this rules has 10 articles relating to seller s obligation and 10 articles relating to buyer s obligation. The IncotermsⓇ 2010 rules deal with the parties notices and clarify the seller s and buyer s obligations to provide the notices to the other party in articles A7/B7. These provisions is identical to the articles A7/B7 of the Incoterms 2000. The purpose of this paper is, therefore, to analyze the clauses of notices to the buyer and seller under articles A7 and B7 of IncotermsⓇ 2010 Rules and to provide the attention point of the clauses.
