무속신화의 문학치료적 활용 가능성 연구

A Study on Epic Characteristics and Literary Therapeutic Efficacy of <Se-Kung-Bon-Puri> -Focusing on Literature Therapeutic Measures for Parent-dependent Attitude-

본고는 문학치료적 관점에서 <세경본풀이>를 살펴보고 이 무속신화가 부모에 대한 지나친 의존적 태도를 개선할 수 있는 유용한 치료제가 될 수 있음을 연구하였다. <세경본풀이>에서는 결핍된 존재로 태어난 한 여성이 여신으로 좌정하는 과정에 대해서 이야기하고 있다. 인간 자청비가 여신이 되는 것은 모험의 여정을 통해서 가능했던 일이다. 그런데 자청비의 모험은 여러 번의 실패를 반복하게 된다. <세경본풀이>에서 자청비의 모험은 부모가 있는 집에서 떠나는 행위로 구체화되어 나타나는데, 자청비는 문제 상황에 처할 때마다 집으로 돌아와서 문제를 해결하려고 하고 있어 계속해서 모험이 실패로 돌아가는 것이다. 즉, 자청비가 지니고 있는 부모에 대한 의존적 태도라는 점이 문제가 되어 모험이 실패로 귀결되고 있는 것이다. 자청비는 부모에 대한 의존에서 벗어나 주체적이고 독립적으로 마지막 모험에 임하여서야 드디어 진정한 자신과 만나고 자신의 존재 가치를 발견하게 되며 모험을 성공으로 이끌게 된다. <세경본풀이>는 부모에 대한 지나친 의존으로 인해 나타나는 부정적 결과와 부모에게 벗어나 주체적으로 자신의 삶을 개척하고자 하는 의지를 가질 때 나타나는 긍정적 결과를 모험의 실패와 성공이라는 결말을 통해 대조적으로 그려내고 있다. 자청비의 성장담을 담고 있는 무속신화<세경본풀이>는 부모 의존도가 높은 치료 대상자에게 스스로 지각하지 못했던 현실을 파악하는 계기가 될 것이며, 자신이 가진 문제에 대처할 수 있는 서사를 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이다.

Until now, <Se-Kung-Bon-Puri> has been studied in terms of literary therapy. <Se-Kung-Bon-Puri> is the story that a heroine, Jachongbi overcomes hardships and becomes the goddess. Jachongbi goes on four adventures. From the first to the third adventure, Jachongbi goes on adventures while not recognizing her own identify. The adventures are always a failure. In the fourth adventure, Jachongbi recognizes her identify and leave to discover her true self. In this adventure, Jachongbi takes a harsh test to go up into the sky and acquire qualification for the being of heaven. Jachongbi passes the test and becomes the being of heaven. The story of Jachongbi can be a good text for young people who are highly dependent on their parents. In this college admission centered competitive world, parents require their children only to get high grades. Children are bound to be highly dependent on their parents because parents take care of all matters other than study. However, when the time comes, everyone must leave their parents. <Se-Kung-Bon-Puri> tells us that everyone must become independent of their parents and live on their own. In particular, the structure of <Se-Kung-Bon-Puri> is good to be used as the text for literary therapy. The younger generation is familiar with the fantasy adventure and likes it. In the future, we will conduct literary therapy with this work and verify the literary therapeutic possibility of <Se-Kung-Bon-Puri>.
