온-오프 블렌디드 러닝을 활용한 <한국어교육학 개론> 강좌의 구성과 운영에 대한 사례 연구

A case study of course design and class management using blended learning method: for 'Introduction of Korean Language Education as a Foreign Language' course

이 연구는 최근에 교수-학습 전략으로서 많은 주목을 받고 있는 '블렌디드 러닝(blended learning)'의 기법을 활용하여 학부생 대상의 '한국어 교육학 개론' 강좌의 구성 및 운영 사례를 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 블렌디드 러닝이란 단순히 기존의 여러 교수 방식을 물리적으로 섞는 것이 아니라 대면과 원격, 협동과 자기주도, 이론과 실제를 통합해 나가는 교수법으로서 의미가 있다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 블렌디드 러닝 기법을 활용하여 교과를 개발한 사례를 중심으로, 개발의 배경, 구성 요소와 고려 사항, 개발 시 사용한 저작 도구, 개발 절차를 다루고, 약 2년 동안 이 블렌디드 교과를 운영하면서 얻게 된 학습자들의 반응과 환류, 또 개선 또는 제언이 필요한 사항을 논의하였다. 이러한 실제 중심의 사례 연구는 앞으로 이와 같은 수업을 구안하는 연구자, 교육자들에게 가시적이고 명확한 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this paper is to study a case of university level course in which blended learning teaching-learning method was applied. In this study, redevelopment backgrounds, main components and major consideration of designing blended-learning course, authoring tools of producing on-line education contents, whole process of production and management were discussed, and primary feed-backs of learners also introduced. Blended learning is not only a physical mixing some teaching-leaning techniques, but also a integration of on and off line, face-to-face and distance, self-directed and cooperative learning. Hence this study can contribute various implications and visible assistants to others who work in educational arena.
