차세대영재기업인 교육 참여자들의 상담 요구 분석

Study of the counseling needs of gifted students who are participated in the Gifted Young Entrepreneurs Program

본 연구는 차세대영재기업인 교육에 참여하는 영재학생들의 상담에 대한 요구를 파악하고, 이들의 요구에 적합한 상담 운영방식을 파악하며 이들의 심리, 진로와 관련된 심층 이슈를 분석하여 영재상담을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2010년부터 차세대영재기업인에게 실시해 온 상담 요구 조사 자료를 분석하고 심층면담을 병행하여 실시하였다. 연구결과 차세대영재기업인은 전문상담의 경험은 적었으나 전문상담에 대한 요구가 매우 높았으며 집단 상담에 대한 요구와 지속적인 상담에 대한 요구도 높았다. 또한 차세대영재기업인은 진로와 관련된 어려움과, 학업과 관련된 심리적 부담감으로 인한 어려움을 느끼고 있었으며, 진로 상담대상은 학부모나 친구들이 가장 많았으나 전문적인 가이드가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 함께 상담에 참여할 수 있는 시점에 대한 조사 결과 차세대영재기업인은 캠프 활동 중에 실시하는 상담을 선호했으며 학생들은 자기주도적이며 동기 및 관심 영역에 대한 열정이 높았으며 다양한 분야에 대한 교육과 학습을 함께 하기를 희망했다. 연구결과를 토대로 차세대영재기업인의 상담요구 및 이들의 영재성 관련 심층 이슈들과 관련해 차별화된 영재상담에 대한 제언을 하였다.

The purpose of this study was to offer meaningful information for the gifted counseling by analyzing counseling needs of gifted students who are participated in the Gifted Young Entrepreneurs Program. This study had been focused their counseling needs related to the psychological or career issues and counseling service system. This study used mixed method which was consist of a survey and in-dept interview. The results of this study showed that although Gifted Young Entrepreneurs have a lack of counseling experience, they have strong needs of a specialized counseling service. Moreover, They struggled with difficulty in coping with career related issues and stress from pressure of academic achievement and they also showed strong demand for the professional guidance. According to the survey results, these gifted students preferred having counseling services during their participation in the summer or the winter camps. Finally, the gifted students who are participated in the Future Creative Entrepreneur Project wanted to have professional training opportunities and educational sessions in various areas.
