청년 황윤석의 한시에 나타난 經世 포부와 자기반성

Self-reflection and aspirations of Governing that have been displayed by youth Hwang, yun-seok

본고는 頤齋 黃胤錫(1729∼1791) 한시를 전반적으로 분석하는 데 있어 그 첫 번째 단계로 그가 청년기에 남긴 시들에서 드러나는 그의 經世 포부와 자기반성을 조명해보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방대한 작품량과 아직 번역되지 않았다는 한계 때문에 이재의 시와 시인으로서의 이재를 전반적으로 평가하기는 매우 어렵다. 본 연구자는 이러한 한계를 조금이라도 극복하기 위해, 그의 사상적ㆍ학문적 성향을 살펴볼 수 있는 그의 초기 시부터 살펴보았다. 주자와 송시열을 종주로 삼고 공자와 문왕을 찬양하며 『주역』 등 유학의 여러 서적에 관심을 기울이는 모습은 經世의 포부를 가진 선비들의 전형에서 그다지 벗어나지 않는다. 하지만 어린 나이에도 불구하고 名利에 대해 비판적인 시각을 가지고 있었던 점은 주목할 만하다. 또 이 시기에 창작된 詩에 나타난 고뇌의 양상에서 두 가지 특징적인 점을 발견 할 수 있다. 첫 번째는 빈번한 自省의 경향이다. 큰 기대를 받는 만큼 부담도 많이 짊어지고 있었던 이재는 하루라도 빨리 입신양명의 결과를 성취하기 위해 스스로를 단속했다. 하지만 총명하다고 알려졌던 이재도 한결같이 학업에만 매진할 수는 없었다. 누구나 그렇듯 공부를 게을리 하거나 다른 일에 정신을 쏟을 때로 있었던 것이다. 이재는 이런 자신의 모습을 반성하는 시들을 다수 남겼다. 두 번째는 이재가 맹목적으로 과거공부에 열중하지는 않았다는 점이다. Ⅱ장에서 살펴본 것과 같이 그는 여러 학문을 두루 공부하며 名利에서 벗어난 삶에 뜻을 두고 있었고, 이 때문에 과거를 통한 입신양명과 儒道 본령의 추구 사이에서 갈등하고 있었으니 이재가 남긴 다른 시에서도 이러한 모습이 다수 발견된다.

This paper is written in order to analyze the overall Chinese poetry of Hwang yun-seok, try to illuminate the self-reflection and aspirations of governing appearing in withering he left behind in adolescence. Because of the limitations that were not yet been translated, it is very difficult to evaluate the overall his poetry. In this paper, in order to overcome these limitations, had examined from the poetry of his early days. The sight of him, they do not deviate too much typical of a learned man us. However, it is possible to discover the characteristics of the two faces of suffering shown in poem was created at this time. The first is the tendency of frequent self-examination. He crackdown himself in order to achieve the result of the success in life as soon as possible. However, it was not possible to push forward only to academic always. So he left many works to reflect on their own. Second is the point that he did not want a crazy success in life blindly. He had put a meaning to life outside the success by studying. So, figure like this has been found in many other poems he left behind.
