A Study on Body painting illustration Using Storytelling of The Animation Legend OF The Guardian

This study investigates body painting illustrations which use the story of animation through storytelling. Linking stories using the visual works and applying them to affectionate and unique design in the beauty design industry through complementariness and communication was attempted. The following results have been obtained: First, there was a theoretical review on the animation, and storytelling and body painting theory were investigated for the motives. Based on the theoretical review, they were expressed through the works. Second, background elements and keywords have been analyzed for design after investigating The Legend of the Guardians and figuring out conflicts among the animation characters. Third, this study has confirmed that the expression of body illustration using storytelling can provide diverse ideas and promote innovative design process.
