A Study of the Effects of Self-efficacy and the Types of Career Decision-making on Career Preparation Behavior -Focusing on students majoring in beauty in junior college-

This study to approach self decision-making self-efficacy, career preparation behavior and career guidance differently depending on the type of career decision-making for college students from the department of beauty in junior college considering the fact that the effects of self decision-making self-efficacy on career preparation behavior would first, it was confirmed that among the career decision-making self-efficacy factors, job information and future plan had a positive causal relationship with career preparation behavior factors by taking rational type as a mediation variable. Second, job information and self-assessment factors in self decision-making self-efficacy had a positive causal relationship with career preparation behavior factors which include professional institutions, goal achievement and search activities through acquaintances by taking intuitive type as a mediation variable. Third, a positive causal relationship was found between goal setting and career searching through acquaintances by taking dependent type as a mediation variable. This kind of result reveals that high self-efficacy in goal setting, it has nothing to do with job information, future plans, problem-solving and self-assessment. In addition, it was confirmed 'that career searching through acquaintances' was most active among career preparation behavior factors.
