'교육복지투자우선지역지원사업'에 대한 교직원 및 학부모 평가 분석

Administrative and Parental Evaluations of the 'Project for Investment in Education and Welfare for Priority Areas' in Taejon city

The objective of this study is to analyze the faculty and parents' evaluation of the 'Project for Education-Welfare Investment Priority Area's' management structure and programs carried out by kindergartens and daycare centers in Taejeon city. The subjects of the study were 65 teachers/directors and 156 parents of the institutions that have participated in this project from 2005 to 2008. Surveys and interviews were used to collect data. The data was analyzed by frequency. As a result, the facultys' evaluation of this project's management structure and the program was more than positive, and the parents' evaluation of the overall project was positive as well. As a proposal of this study, the following was suggested: first, the need of an administrative assistance system for managing early childhood programs; second, the need for increasing the budget of early childhood projects; third, the need to diversity the project program; fourth, the need to develop ways to interconnect local community related organizations.
