과업중심 준비학습을 통한 초등영어 역할극 지도에 관한 연구

A Study on Teaching Role-Play Using Task-Based Activities at Primary School English Classroom

This study examined role-play using task-based activities in the development of English language skills among primary level students. Careful attention was paid to affective responses and how they helped support cognitive and loral abilities in children. Assessment instruments included the following items: oral testing; student self-evaluations; teacher observations; personal interviews; and audio-video transcrip tions. Data was collected over a 22 week period. Results from this study, helped confirm the positive use of role-play using task-based activities to advance student understanding and increasing their fluency and accurate use of speaking. As the authentic communication occurred gradually on the base of well-designed tasks and role-play, speaking ability of English were improved. Also the level of interests and self-confidence was increased by meeting the situation of role-play which engaged their social intelligence, a lot in students real world.
